11th Annual Asian Entrepreneur of
the Year Awards
"Celebrating Asian Entrepreneurs" enters
its 11th year of seeking and recognizing exemplary Asian American
businesses. Sponsored by the Asian Enterprise Magazine and
several Fortune 500 companies, the program seeks successful
Asian American firms to the following categories:
- High Technology Companies
- Hospitality Industry (restaurants, hotels, etc.)
- Manufacturing/ Construction/ A & E companies
- Services/ Wholesale/ Retail Companies
- Companies with less than 50 employees
Application Process
Applicants must submit the following in seven (&) sets
with $50 application fee:
- An official cover sheet with basic contact data (please
contact Asian Business Ventures for application forms, or
apply online)
- A narrative on the firms challenges, history, current,
status and community development
- Financial Statements and tax returns, current and for
the past two years. At their option, an applicant may also
provide promotional materials.
Such materials will become part of the application package
but will not replace any of the required documentation listed
above.
Judging Criteria
Entries will be judged on a 100 points scale as follows:
| History and obstacles firm has had to overcome,
business and racial ethnic barriers and how the company
had dealt with them; |
